Project Description

The SFSL, LP project is one that has raised $4,000,000 from eight EB-5 investors. They will take part in the conversion of the historic Harder Hall in Sebring, Florida. This $29,000,000 project will ultimately create a total of 134 jobs which can be counted by EB-5 investors; this is a significant buffer beyond the minimum that would be required here, which is 80. Like several other EB-5 Good Fortune projects, the Harder Hall project involves the development of a senior living facility that offers three different levels of care, which allows residents to progress from one to the next as their needs change over time.

Once a hotel, it was designed in the Spanish Colonial Revival Style architecture popular during the period and contained 134 rooms. It had approximately 50,000 square feet (4,600 m2) square feet of rooms and halls, 35,000 square feet (3,300 m2) of public areas including a mezzanine lobby. The 4,200-square-foot (390 m2) great room and banquet room both had 22-foot (7 m) ceilings with large French doors that overlook the lake.
