Project Description
IDHH is a 17 investor EB-5 project that will be construction a Hyatt House hotel on International Drive in Orlando, Florida, just down the street from hugely popular tourist destinations like Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, and the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Lubin, Salvetti & Associates prepared all investors’ I-526 petitions in 2013 and 2014 and adjudications are pending. This diverse partnership features investors from China, Taiwan, and Chad.
The total development cost is around $30,000,000 and the finished hotel will feature 175 guest rooms plus meeting and event rooms, a state-of-the-art fitness, a pool, and restaurants with both indoor and outdoor dining. Located in a TEA based upon a high rate of unemployment, this project expects to create more than 260 jobs. It is being undertaken in association with Whitestone Realty Capital and the development is funded by a combination of a bank’s construction loan, developer’s equity, and EB-5 investment. The Great Recession dramatically impacted the Florida economy, and this is an area that badly needs jobs creation. Without EB-5 investor funding, this project simply would not be possible.
